Allergies

Last night none of us got sleep. Madison was up all night itching with a stuffed up nose. Of course everytime I heard her trying to breath through her nose it sounded like she was struggling for air, so I was worried all night. Her rash had spread to her tummy and back, and was a lot worse. I took her to the doctor and he thinks she is allerigic to something, so of course there is nothing we can do. She is starting to itch more, so we have been given her benadryl which makes her really loopy. Hopefully, this will go away soon. I think it looks worse than it is. Atleast we know it isn't contagious.

Back to Reality

This what we woke up to this morning. We are almost ready for church and getting ready to get Madison in the bath, and discover this. At first I thought it was chicken pox because the spots were a lot smaller this morning, but then they got bigger and swelled. I thought lets run her to Urgent Care and see what they say. Well, she has 5th's disease apparently. It doesn't seem to bother her, but I have no clue how she got it. Hopefully, these doctors know what they are talking about. Anyway I will probably be up all night worrying it is some sort of allergic reaction and check on her every hour. If it is not any better tomorrow I am calling her pediatrician and taking her in.

Many of you know that Ellie is not the best baby in the world. It was really nice to get a break from her this weekend, but now she is back and we are back to normal. It was such a quiet relaxing weekend, but I sure did miss that little booger. I found myself pacing a lot not knowing what to do with myself. Hopefully her being away, kept her from getting this virus Madison apparently has.

Please continue to pray for little Julia, as she continues to heal from her surgery.

2nd Attempt

I am going to atempt this again! I tried blogging before and just lost track of it. I hope this time I can keep up with it and update regularly.

My parents have graciously took Ellie for the weekend, so Dan and I thought we would take Madison out by herself. We let her pick where we ate and then took her to see Monsters vs. Aliens in 3-D. Although it cost $35 to get in (not including popcorn and drinks) I highly reccomend this movie. It was very funny and really neat with the 3-D effects. Ellie is not the best sleeper in the world, or should I say she doesn't sleep at all. Thanks Mom & Dad for letting us have 2 full nights of sleep.

Please keep Julia (Ju-Ju), an amazing two year old from church who I had the pleasure of keeping on Wed. mornings in your prayers. She had a tumor on her kidney, and had to have the tumor and kidney removed on Friday. She is a very special little girl, and pray that God will continue to heal her, and comfort her and her family in further treatments.
